Watford and Senegal international Ismaila Sarr’s proposed move to Aston Villa is ‘set to fall through.’
The 24-year-old who can be deployed as right or left-winger as well as a centre-forward looked all set to join the claret and blue but negotiation are now said to have stalled at the very last hurdle.

According to The Telegraph, Sarr completed his medical on Sunday and it was down to the formalities to get the deal over the line but the transfer hit a huge stumbling block and is now ‘unlikely to be resurrected.’
John Percy of the Telegraph wrote via Twitter: “Ismaila Sarr’s £25m move to #avfc set to fall through.”
“Talks over the weekend included Cameron Archer & Kortney Hause joining #Watford on loan, but issues emerged with structure of the deal (including Sarr’s personal terms). At this stage, unlikely to be resurrected.”
Sarr has been a transfer target for the Villans since before former captain Jack Grealish left the club and now over a year later looks set to remain just that.
He scored an impressive 25 goals in 95 games for Watford with the majority of those coming as a winger and 10 of those coming in the Premier League.
