Aston Villa’s starting XI and bench for 22/23 season if all the summer transfer targets are landed

Where do you think this squad would finish in next season’s Premier League table?

Aston Villa’s summer recruitment has cooled down a little over the last few weeks after a red-hot start.

The permanent arrivals of Philippe Coutinho, Boubacar Kamara, Diego Carlos and Robin Olsen all before July 1 set the Villans off on an incredible opening to the transfer window and whilst things have quietened, those four still aren’t expected to be the last.

Steven Gerrard is thought to want another man in each area of the pitch (goalkeeper aside) before September 1 and then some names will obviously need to head the other way too to complete part two of his Villa overhaul.

Morgan Sanson, Marvelous Nakamba and Kortney Hause are thee names straight off the bat that could move on in the next few weeks.

The Villa squad that travels to Bournemouth on August 6 is expected to look far different than the one that kicked off under Dean Smith at Watford last season.

So if all the transfer rumours do come true between now and that day, what could the squad look like in full?
