According to talkSPORT, the newly promoted side are eyeing a move for Hause as they race to get new signings in following a very quiet summer.

Scott Parker recently detailed his frustration that the club had not invested ahead of their return to the top flight.

In a bid to answer Parket’s prayers, it’s being claimed Bournemouth are pushing for a deal for Hause, who only recently signed a new long-term deal at Villa.

Villa could yet agree a deal given the increased competition they have at the back following January and summer signings.

Bournemouth blows

Bournemouth look set to be without both of their new signings going into the opening weekend.

Ryan Fredericks and Joe Rothwell have both arrived at the Vitality Stadium this summer, and they are the only arrivals to date.

But Parker says both players will be absentees for the clash with Villa.

“In the last game, he [Rothwell] did a sprint and just felt something in his quad. He won’t be ready for the start of the season,” he said. “It wasn’t as bad on a scan as maybe we initially thought, but he will be missing at the start of the season.

“Ryan Fredericks is on the grass again. Again, next weekend comes a bit too quick for him, but he is on the right track.”
