'No chance' - Agent opens door to Aston Villa for Arsenal and Galatasaray transfer target

AS Roma and Italy defender Leonardo Spinazzola has emerged as a potential signing for Aston Villa.

The Villains and their Premier League title rivals Arsenal are to clubs said to have an interest in the right-back according to LaRoma24.it .It is unclear yet whether Villa or the Gunners would consider a move in the January window or if they would wait until the summer when his contract expires.

Spinazzola is likely to depart Roma, and already his representatives have said that there is 'no chance' he signs a new contract with the club that are currently managed by Jose Mourinho. Despite the unlikelihood of him remaining at the Olimpico Stadium, the 30-year-old has played in 17 games thiss eason and has got three assists and one goal.

“There is no chance for a renewal. Let’s see how the January market develops otherwise he will expire," said Spinazzola's agent Davide Lippi to Sportitalia last week.

Arsenal and Villa could wait it out however II Tempo says that Galatasaray and several teams in Saudi Arabia are interested. Nop concrete offers have arrived as of yet however the Italian club are pushing for his exit and want to free up his wages.

Villa already have Lucas Digne and Alex Moreno as left-back options and the likelihood is that one of them would have to depart. Spinazzola won EURO 2020 with Italy in 2021, playing in the majority of their matches before he was stretched off with an Achilles injury. He was clocked as the fastest player in the tournament and his role saw in Italia's success saw him named in the Team of the Tournament. He is a compatriot of Villa loanee Nicolo Zaniolo.

In other news, Inter Miami are considering making a swoop for Phillipe Coutinho. The 31-year-old is currently out on loan with Qatari outfit Al-Duhail but his move hasn't gone to plan, and now a potential escape route to the USA could be in the offing.

According to AS, the MLS side are interested in signing him, and he could reunite with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi at the Florida club. The only road block is the arrival of Suarez means that a non-designated Player deal would have to be done and that is a complicated process.
