West Midlands Police have placed a closure order on a property in Solihull following multiple reports of ongoing anti-social behaviour.

The property is on Frankton Close and behaviour at the property had been causing worry and disruption to residents.

The anti-social behaviour included drug use and noise disturbances.

Police and Solihull community housing issued warnings, carried out enforcement activity and increased foot and mobile patrols in the area to reassure residents.

Police also obtained a court order to close the property which was carried out on October 28 by local officers.

The closure order prohibits anyone except for those named on the order, such as people working for Solihull Council, Solihull community housing or the emergency services from remaining in, returning to, or entering the premises for a period of three months.

Anyone that breaches the order can be arrested.

Sargent Tom Willetts, from Solihull Police, said: "By obtaining a closure order we are aiming to reduce drug use and anti-social behaviour, which have no place here.

"If you spot any anti-social behaviour in your area, please report this into us."
