Hide AdJude recently secured a blockbuster move to Spanish side Real Madrid after months of speculation. It comes after an unsuccessful title run with Borussia Dortmund and an injury that left him sidelined.
The Birmingham City legend is set to receive a substantial pay rise at his new club. According to GOAL, Jude will be taking home over £350,000 a week at the Spanish Champions League club. The young talent will wear the number five shirt, which previously belonged to club legend Zinedine Zidane.
Meanwhile, his younger brother Jobe completed a move to Sunderland from Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee hours after Jude’s transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu was finalised. He made 26 appearances for Birmingham, including making his full debut against Sunderland last year.
Speaking for the first time since joining the club, Jobe said: “I’m delighted to sign for Sunderland AFC, and I can’t wait to get started. The opportunity for young players to move here and progress is clear, so I believe this is the perfect club for me to continue my development. I’m grateful to everyone at Birmingham City for their support over the past 11 years, and I wish them the best for the future as I begin the next chapter of my career at the Stadium of Light.”
