Jack Grealish parties hard as the Manchester City winger celebrates winning his first FA Cup

Manchester City are the 2023 FA Cup champions. Jack Grealish, 27, was clearly over the moon after adding another piece of silverware to his collection.

The former Aston Villa captain celebrated City winning the Premier League just two weeks ago. His side is now hoping to complete the treble with a win in Istanbul against Inter Milan next weekend, for their first ever Champions League trophy.

In the FA Cup final on Saturday 3 June, Grealish played 89 minutes and was the most fouled player in the match. Two absolutely stunning goals from City captain Ilkay Gundogan (including the fastest goal in FA Cup final history) saw the Blues upstage United in a comfortable 2-1 victory.

In an interview after the match, Grealish told ITV Sport: “Of course I’m going to enjoy myself tonight. It’s not every week that you win the FA Cup”. He also confessed that the celebrations had started a little bit early for his team’s potential to secure the treble in Istanbul next weekend.

A video of the on pitch celebrations shows Grealish drinking from a champagne bottle with a Go-Pro attached. After absolutely drenching John Stones, other victims of Grealish’s champagne shower included Nathan Aké, Erling Haaland, and Bernardo Silva. 

The Solihull-born star was also captured joyfully spinning a member of City’s backroom staff on his shoulders on the Wembley turf. Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips watched on in amusement before joining the celebrations shortly after.

The fun didn’t stop when City headed into the changing rooms however, and thanks to Grealish, the behind the scenes action was all captured and posted to his Instagram story. Kitman Brandon Ashton stripped down to his underwear and belly-slid along the champagne covered floor, as he did previously after the Blues’ 2019 FA Cup win. Brandon was brought to a stop by Jack Grealish’s designer Gucci bag, much to the winger’s horror, who exclaimed: “Watch my Gucci bag!” 

Jack is known to party hard and live life to the max, and Saturday’s cup win was no exception, as Grealish’s elation continued all the way into Sunday evening. Still posting to his Instagram story, the £100 million man shared a video of himself drunkenly ‘singing the blues’ in a car with his friends. A fan shared the hilarious clip on Twitter, writing: “I don’t think Jack’s gonna be right for Istanbul😭😭”.

Pep Guardiola will have to hope Jack Grealish recovers soon from his celebrations, as he will need his first choice LW fit and ready for what is his side’s most important game in recent history. Inter Milan have been a dark horse in this season’s Champions League - Manchester City will need to be on top form to keep the Italian side at bay, and finally be crowned champions of Europe.
