Man, 20, dies after car crash in Streetly

Police say the 51-year-old driver of a Jaguar XF who was involved in the crash failed to stop for police prior to the collision

A 20-year-old man who was seriously injured in a crash on Aldridge Road, Streetly on Friday night (7 October) has died.

The Ford Fiesta he was driving was hit by a Jaguar XF, which failed to stop for police prior to this.

West Midlands Police said the driver of the Jaguar XF, a 51-year-old man, remains in hospital and will be interviewed about the incident. The force said the incident has been referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC).
