Four men charged after ram-raid at Ladypool Road jewellery shop

Four men have been charged following a ram raid at a jewellery shop on Ladypool Road in Birmingham last month (March).
Justin Boylan, aged 50, Trevor Leek, 43, and Hassan Zulfiqar, 25, were detained yesterday (April 7) and later charged with conspiracy to rob and possessing an offensive weapon.

Hide AdThey appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday) and remanded ahead of a hearing at Crown Court on 5 May.
John Gourlay, 48, was charged with the same offences along with theft of a motor vehicle and transferring criminal property. He was also wanted for recall to prison.
Significant damage was caused to the store on Ladypool Road on 3 March, fortunately no-one was injured.
