Family tribute to motorcyclist killed in Birmingham crash

A 33-year-old motorbike rider who died after a collision with a car in Stechford last month has been named as Damian Demkowski. Damian died at the scene following the crash in Station Road at the junction with Yardley Fields Road on the afternoon of Friday, 19 August. His family have paid tribute to him following the crash.

In a touching tribute, his family who are being supported by specialist officers, said that Damian would be telling them ‘Don’t cry because I was always smiling’.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police, said: “The driver of the car involved is continuing to help with our enquiries and anyone who’s not yet spoken with us, but has information should get in touch with investigators.
