Coventry Road collision victim named as Harvey Lendon as West Midlands police appeal for witnesses

A man who died in a collision in Sheldon has been named as 60-year-old Harvey Lendon. Mr Lendon was struck by a car on Coventry Road at around 8.30pm on 15 October.

Despite the best efforts of people who helped him and ambulance colleagues, he sadly died at the scene. The driver of the car is assisting police with their enquiries. And officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses.

Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Mr Lendon. We have specialist family liaison officers supporting them at this very sad time. I am urging anyone who may have information who hasn’t already spoken to us to make contact.”
