Birmingham Airport have been facing issues like long queues and staff shortage for some time now. Now, passengers are sharing their dismay over the high parking rates at the airport.

Lee Hunt from Warrickshire called the pricing “insanity.” He said: “I was quoted £222.48 to park my car at the NCP car park at Birmingham Airport, from 6am this morning (23 August) until 8pm on Thursday (25 August). My return flights to Dusseldorf, with extra legroom, cost £196. I just felt that when it costs more to park your car for two days than it does to fly to and back from Dusseldorf, there’s something wrong somewhere,” said Hunt.

Another passenger shared on Twitter: “If passengers have to wait over an hour to even get off the plane due to staff/stair shortages, you should seriously consider easing up on the parking charges. Visitors should not be punished any more than possible due to your staff shortages.”
