Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will be expanding their Summer 24 programme from Birmingham Airport by adding two new routes they announced today (Monday, July 31).
After strong demand from holidaymakers and independent travel agents, the travel company added two new European destinations bringing the total destinations up to 55 for Summer 24 from Birmingham Airport. Last week, the tour operator ran several rescue flights from wildfire-ridden Greek islands Corfu and Rhodes to repatriate Britons who were stuck there.
But after a difficult week, Jet2 has announced two new destinations, including one in Greece, for next summer. The expansion has seen the companies add two new routes from Birmingham Airport - Tivat (Montenegro) and Lesvos, Greece. Previously, they announced Girona, Izmir, Dubrovnik, Ibiza & Reus for Summer 24 from Birmingham.
How often will Jet 2 fly to Tivat in Montenegro from Birmingham Airport?
Montenegro offers customers a wealth of history and culture alongside stunning scenery and weather. With resorts on offer including Budva, Becici and Kotor Bay, customers can enjoy mountains, natural parks, lakes, beaches and port towns in this incredible destination.
There will be flights to Tivat in Montenegro from May, 2024 to October 31, 2024. A weekly Thursday service will operate from May 2, with a second weekly service (Monday) coming into operation from July 1 next year.

The second new route from Birmingham Airport for Summer 24 is the sun-kissed island of Lesvos, with weekly Sunday services operating from May 26, 2024 through to October 6, 2024.
‘We’re giving travellers more choice at Birmingham Airport’

In response to that, we are moving to give customers and independent travel agents even more choice thanks to the launch of two brand new routes for Summer 24. This expansion further strengthens a programme which is already our biggest ever, and we know that it will be very popular with customers and independent travel agents right across the region.”
