easyJet to launch 15 new flight destinations from Birmingham Airport, including Amsterdam

Brummies will have 15 new destinations to choose from next summer with easyJet launching several new routes. The expansion comes just a month after easyJet said it will open a new three-aircraft base at Birmingham Airport .

The, new base due to open in in spring 2024, will be the airline’s first expansion since the pandemic that will create 100 direct jobs and 1,200 indirect jobs in Birmingham. This is also going to be their ninth base in the UK.

The low-cost carrier already serves 13 domestic connections and international routes from Birmingham to popular beach and city destinations including Amsterdam, Geneva, Milan, Naples, Lisbon, Faro and Palma de Mallorca. The opening of the base with the addition of three aircrafts has enabled them to further expand the Birmingham network that will be prove popular with leisure and business travellers.

easyJet today (Thursday, June 29) announced they will launch 15 new routes for summer 2024 - when the Birmingham Airport upgrade is expected to be complete - from Birmingham to Europe, Africa and the Middle East regions.
