The Victorian style silver locket pendant includes a photo of the victim’s late husband as well as cuttings of his hair so holds great sentimental value. Police have arrested and charged a 46-year-old man from Great Barr in connection with the robbery but have been unable to locate the necklace.
A statement from the force, read: “Now, with the permission of the victim, we’re releasing three images in a bid to return it to her. We’re asking anyone who’s seen the necklace or been offered it for sale to contact us via the Live Chat on our website quoting 20/695759/22.”
