Birmingham man charged with rape and kidnap

A 29-year-old man from Harborne will appear before city magistrates on Wednesday (3 August) charged with rape.
Mustafa Hakim, of Rickyard Piece in Harborne, Birmingham, was arrested yesterday morning (2 August) and has been charged with rape and kidnap. The alleged incident happened at around 8.30am on Thursday 28 July on Bourn Brook Walkway, behind Reservoir Road in Birmingham.

Hide AdA police statement, read: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 8am and 9am who may have seen or heard anything. We know there were quite a few people around the area at the time, so any information you have may be vital in our investigation.” The woman is being supported by specialist officers.
