An 18-year-old from Rubery has now been charged with murder

Police have charged a fourth person with the murder of Ronan Kanda, who was stabbed to death in Wolverhampton.

Ronan, age 16, was attacked on Mount Road, in Lanesfield, on 29 June. He tragically died at the scene. Officers have now charged an 18-year-old man. Joseph Whittaker, of Raven Hays Road, Rubery, Birmingham, has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (4 August). Last month we also charged Josiah Francis, 20, of Westcote Avenue, Birmingham, with murder, along with two 16-year-old boys.
