A Birmingham man and 2 teenagers due in court for Ronan Kanda murder

Three people have been charged with the murder of a "kind-hearted" teenager.
Ronan Kanda, 16, was fatally knifed in Wolverhampton, last Wednesday night (June 29)]. A post-mortem revealed he died after being stabbed twice. West Midlands Police say a man and two teenagers have been charged with his murder.

Hide AdJosiah Francis, 20, from Rubery, and two 16-year-old boys, who can’t be named for legal reasons, are due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Monday, July 4). A 15-year-old lad and an 18-year-old man also arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail.
Ronan’s family are being supported by specially trained officers. A spokesman for the family said: “Ronan was a kind-hearted, loving, caring 16-year-old. Our son and a brother who would do anything for anyone.
“He was a funny character who made everyone laugh around him. He is taken from us cruelly and our hearts are broken. We want everyone to pray for his soul now. We will always love you our son and my brother and you will live within us now.”
