Solihull woman arrested on suspicion of murder after man’s body is found in house

Police are investigating the death of the man aged 56 at a house in Solihull

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man’s body was found inside a house in Solihull.

Officers were called by the ambulance service to the property in Shalford Road, Solihull, just before 3.10pm yesterday (Thursday 30 June).

A post mortem examination will take place to determine the precise cause of death of the 56-year-old man.

West Midlands Police said that his family have been told the news and will be kept updated.

A statement from the force, read: “We’ve spoken to people in the area, a forensic examination of the house has taken place and we are reviewing CCTV. “As part of our investigation, we arrested a 34-year-old woman on suspicion of murder after a man’s body was found. She remains in custody this morning.
