Sutton Coldfield nursery fete raises £462 for local charities
A Sutton Coldfield nursery has raised £462 for local charities at its annual summer fete.
Partou Langley Gorse Day Nursery and Pre-school held the event, which was organised by nursery manager Holly Edwards and her team.

Families, carers, friends and local community groups attended the fete, which featured games for all ages, a cake sale and a range of hot and cold drinks.
The nursery is based in a Georgian mansion around a mile from Sutton Coldfield town centre and has three acres of private grounds, including nature trails, climbing frames and sensory gardens.

Ms Edwards said the fete provided an opportunity for families and staff to spend time together in a more informal setting while also supporting the local community.
“Seeing our nursery summer fete come together for another year and watching the children, families and team members enjoy such a special day made all the hard work worth it,” she said.
“The event allows us to get involved with our local community and enables the team to spend time getting to know families in a more informal setting, bringing everyone closer together.

“Importantly, it also links to our whole nursery curriculum.
“In total, we raised £462 for local charities close to our families’ hearts.
“It was a truly amazing day full of laughter, smiles, love and so many memories.”
