Today, Saturday, November 23, fans of the hit TV show Peaky Blinders were invited to show off their best Tommy Shelby impressions.
The competition took place at the Bullring. Whether it’s the steely gaze or just that Shelby attitude, judges were looking for the person who truly embodied the character.
Organisers hailed the atmosphere as a fantastic celebration of Birmingham and its most famous TV family.
A statement from the organisers, read: “This isn’t just about who looks most like Tommy—it’s about capturing his essence. The series has made Tommy Shelby a global icon, and this event gives fans the opportunity to celebrate the character and the show that has helped to put Birmingham on the map.
“With filming for the next series of Peaky Blinders currently underway, excitement is building in the city. The competition is a chance to get involved in the buzz and to remind everyone why Birmingham is so iconic.”
The winner took home a cheque for a £500 shopping spree.
