The showpiece event of the English domestic cricket season is just days away, and fans of those clubs who are involved - and hope to be involved - will be getting set for a top day out.
Once again, the Vitality Blast T20 Finals Day takes place at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, right here in Birmingham.
Ahead of the big day, here’s all you need to know about which teams will be playing at Edgbaston, when the matches start, and if you can still get tickets.
When is Vitality Blast T20 Finals Day?
Vitality Blast Finals Day 2022 is on Saturday, 16 July. Three matches will take place throughout the day, these being two semi finals and a final.
The first match is due to get underway at 10am, meaning that fans will be getting a full day of cricket with potentially 120 overs of exciting cricket.
Which clubs are involved in Vitality Blast T20 Finals Day 2022?
The full lineup of this year’s finals day is only half complete, with two out of the four quarter finals still yet to be played.
So far, we know that Yorkshire Vikings will be there following their dramatic one run victory over Surrey at the Kia Oval.
Joining them on finals day is Hampshire Hawks, who defeated Birmingham Bears by 105 runs meaning that the Bears missed out on the chance to play at their home ground for finals day.
These will be joined by either Lancashire Lightning or Essex Eagles who play each other tonight (8 July) and Somerset or Derbyshire Falcons who meet at Taunton on 9 July.
Can I still get tickets?
Unfortunately, as this is always a hugely popular event, tickets for the finals day have sold out through the primary channel.
However, there are very limited tickets available through resale on the Edgbaston website and these are located in the Eric Hollies and Skyline East Stands.
The match is expected to sell out, so for these limited number of tickets it is encouraged that you purchase them as soon as possible.
Is Vitality Blast Finals Day on TV?
As the finale to the domestic T20 season, Vitality Blast Finals Day will be shown live and in full on either Sky Sports Cricket or Sky Sports Main Event.
All three matches as well as in depth build up and analysis from Sky Sports’ fleet of ex cricketers should make for great coverage when following the action.
