The city already has one of the most exciting dining scenes in the country holding the most Michelin stars outside of London - and most recently, The Times named The Grand Hotel as the best place to stay in Central England.
From dining at the top of one of the city’s tallest buildings to traditional German bars with an entertaining twist - here are seven new openings set to open in Birmingham in the coming weeks and months.

Hide AdVagabond Wines has arrived in Birmingham - home to its very first venue outside of London.
Owners promise this wine bar is "unlike any place you’ve ever seen". Vagabond offers a drinking experience like no other, as its dispensing machines allow you to try a taste or even a glass of 100+ wines.
The award-winning venue has opened its doors on the corner of Colmore Row and Bennetts Hill and staff are on-hand to help you find the perfect wine for you.

Hide AdEstablished in 2010, Vagabond started as a shop in Fulham and has since gone from strength to strength, opening several wine bars across the Capital, as well as an urban winery in Battersea Power Station.
Vagabond will also have a kitchen serving up delicious tapas to accompany your wine - we’ll drink to that!
The Athenian
If you love Greek food, feast your eyes on this.
With spots across London and in Bristol, The Athenian has now opened in Birmingham at St Philips Place in the city centre.

Filled with beers and bratwurst, Albert’s Schloss Birmingham has opened in One Chamberlain Square.
The sister site to its flagship in Manchester, Albert’s Schloss is set to be one of the city’s new thrilling spots, brought to the city by Mission Mars, the same brand that owns Rudy’s Pizza, located on Bennetts Hill.

Hide AdNamed after the German-born Prince Albert, the bohemian pleasure palace will serve up delicious Bavarian, Czech and Alpine-influenced food and drinks, from schnitzels to fondue.
Spread across two floors, the venue boasts three bars, plus a private function room and a huge outdoor terrace.
Qavali
Brindleyplace is bursting with fantastic places to eat and has just added another string to its bow.

Named after a style of Sufi devotional singing and originating from the Arabic word qual meaning “to speak”, Qavali has space to host 250 covers, Qavali will join a successful number of spots in Brindleyplace including Pulperia, Bank, Cielo and Siamais.
103 Colmore Row Rooftop Restaurant
With the construction of 103 Colmore Row finally coming to an end, we can look forward to dining in its luxurious restaurant.

Hide AdLocated on the 24th floor of the skyscraper, the restaurant will offer stunning panoramic views of the city with floor to ceiling windows, which can be enjoyed alongside an indulgent menu.
Run by D&D London, which runs a collection of luxury bars and restaurants, including 100 Wardour Street in Soho, the Birmingham spot will blend a stunning interior with exceptional food and service.
Alongside the restaurant, D&D will also operate a glamourous cocktail bar and cafe on the ground floor, which will also feature a beautiful winter garden.

Hanbao
Digbeth is welcoming a brand new burger joint and we can’t wait to try it out.
Hanbao, which means burger in Mandarin, is preparing to open its first venue outside of Worcester this November.

Hide AdWith a menu featuring mouth-watering burgers inspired by New York and LA, the venue is set to open on Floodgate Street.
Founded in 2016, Hanbao has already had huge success in Worcester with its unique burgers, which can be washed down with a signature cocktail with an oriental twist.
Alongside delicious burgers, the menu also includes indulgent sides, from Mac n Cheese to Miso Dirty Fries.
It’s due to open in early December.
