Colmore Business District is welcoming a stunning new hospitality venue following a £1 million investment from its West Midlands-based owners who have their sites on a national venture.

Nude Bar & Grill is situated at the former Pint Shop premises at 38 Bennetts Hill. Spread over for floors, it  includes a Champagne lounge and restaurant featuring a modern fusion menu with an Asian influence.

The new venture has created 50 jobs and attracted hospitality talent from Marco Pierre White Steakhouse at The Cube and Bank in Brindleyplace.

Nude Bar & Grill opened its doors for a soft launch on September 23 and is offering 50% off food until Thursday, September 30 - you can book here. It will be officially open from Friday October 1.

Who is behind the new Colmore Business District venue Nude Bar & Grill?

The opening represents a new venture for Donna and Craig Chance, owners of Comfy Pub Co, which runs the Trooper at Wall, The Wine House in Lichfield and Hoof Beats Bar & Kitchen in Brownhills.

The pair have been waiting for nearly a decade to bring a new venue to Birmingham city centre, with the name ‘Nude Bar & Grill’ purchased six years ago as they awaited the perfect opportunity.

Co-owner Donna said: “We’ve really built our business and our reputation up over the past 10 years and we’ve been waiting so long to come to Birmingham.

“We’re a West Midlands based company and own a variety of bars and restaurants across the region - but we really hope Nude Bar & Grill will be the blueprint for us to take this format nationwide.

“The location we have found is perfect for us, it’s actually a privilege to be moving into such a beautiful building and such a thriving part of the city centre.”

General Manager, Jolanta Zatlere, joined the Nude team after a 9-year-role at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse in Birmingham and Kitchen Manager, Stanimir Stoykov, joined following 13 years at the Bank restaurant in Birmingham.

Co-owner Craig said: “I think what we will bring to the city centre is that level of service you expect from a destination venue. There are some fantastic places in Birmingham but our business is based on being top tier when it comes to service.

“We can also offer a great variety over three floors, so whatever sort of night the people of Birmingham are looking for, they can find it with us.”
