Birmingham is renowned for its welcoming St Patrick’s Day celebrations with its world famous parade attracting more than 80,000 visitors in years gone by.
And while it won’t be taking place this year - that won’t be stopping the craic in and around the Irish Quarter in Digbeth.
A host of pubs are planning some mighty St Patrick’s Parade Day parties on the Sunday before March 17, the traditional date for the parade.
The parties are featuring DJ set from Brit Award winners Fontaine’s DC, live music and much more
And the green, white and gold shenanigans doesn’t stop there - as there is a host of Irish celebrations throughout the week and over Paddy’s weekend itself.
The future of the parade is now in the hands of Birmingham Irish Association who previously told BirminghamWorld that it is ‘in review’ - so may be it’ll be back next year.
In the meantime, read on to find out how you can raise a glass to St Patrick for 2023!
