NEC Birmingham is set to host the Secret Cinema event Grease: The Live Experience this summer. The immersive storytelling company is set to bring the iconic American film to Birmingham to celebrate 45 years since the release of the original film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

Secret Cinema have given fans another sneak peek into the exciting event after unveiling the illustrated site map, teasing fans on what they can expect from the experience. Grease: The Live Experience will run at the NEC Birmingham from July 26 to August 13 on a limited three-week run.

Fans of the movie musical will be able to step back in time to Rydell High in the summer of 1959 as the senior year prepares to finish school. Step into Grease and sing and dance to the iconic film soundtrack as you roam the corridors with the Pink Ladies, watch the T-Birds hard at work in the auto shop and gossip with your friends in the cafeteria.

Fans will get to enjoy the fun and festivities of the iconic carnival before ending the night with an enhanced screening of the much-loved movie. The original film Grease was released 45 years ago today (June 16) and to celebrate, Secret Cinema will run a special promotion over this weekend, until Sunday (June 18), with standard tickets being offered for £45.
