The day of the Great Birmingham Run 2024 has finally arrived and thousands of runners have taken to the streets of the city.

The weather, blue skies and sunshine, as participants make their way around either the 10k or half marathon routes.
Officials warned runners at the starting line to stay hydrated in the heat.
