Easter school holidays 2023 Birmingham: when do schools break up for Easter - school term dates

With Easter waiting just around the corner many children and parents alike are looking forward to chocolate, Easter bunnies, and most importantly, the school holidays. The most important date in the Christian calendar, Easter has also become a big celebration in secular societies.

Whether you’re planning on spending some well earned days off at home, or travelling to the sun, the spring holidays are sure to be welcomed by children and parents alike. Birmingham City Council have published the 2023 school term dates in order to help parents keep track of their children’s schedules - and to avoid that awkward drop-off at a closed school.

Children in Birmingham will go to school on Friday March 31, before celebrating two weeks off. Schools will then reopen again on Monday April 17.
