With the Easter holidays getting closer, many Easter themed events and activities are taking place in Birmingham in the coming weeks.
Children are set to have two weeks off, as they come to the end of the penultimate school term. This year, Easter is on Sunday, March 31. After a very short term, schools will break up for Easter by Thursday March 28, ahead of Good Friday on March 29.
And with the holidays on the horizon, many parents will now be starting think of ways to keep their little ones entertained for more than two weeks.
We've decided to round-up some of the very best things to do in Birmingham this Easter no matter the age of your children. Let's take a look at some of the best:

1. Botanical Easter Egg Trail
An Easter egg hunt will be taking place at Birmingham's beautiful Botanical Garden. There's also fun and educational trails for children to enjoy. Set off on an adventure to find all eight specially created botanical eggs while discovering the incredible spring flora around the Gardens. 2. Easter at Cadbury World

3. Easter at Touchwood, Solihull
The Easter action launches at the shopping centre with a free immersive Easter space experience, ‘Touchdown at Touchwood’, where the centre’s very own 'spacecraft will land' on Jubilee Walk from 11am-3pm each day. The experience will create excitement and joy for the whole family, as children step inside the spacecraft to assist with its take off to the moon. Visitors can compete in a series of tasks to pass to the next level, with games to play and astronauts on hand to guide you through on selected days. 4. Easter Cookie Craft, Swan Shopping Centre, Yardley
Mini Swan’s Kids Club is a Free Kids club at The Swan shopping centre. This Easter they're taking inspiration from Germany with some traditional Easter cookie craft. Decorate your own Bavarian Amerikane biscuit before taking it home to enjoy. For extra fun, take part in their egg-citing trail around the centre, spotting the missing eggs hidden by the Easter bunny, before receiving a tasty reward!.
