It’s got a big screen too - so you’ll be able to watch all the sporting action while soaking up the thrilling atmosphere. Every morning there will be Sunrise Stretch Sessions and dance-offs with Perry, the mascot, among other activities throughout the day.

Apart from that, there will be live performances on the stage in Victoria Square, and cafes, bars, and restaurants will be offering exciting food and drink menus.

On Wednesday 27 July, the Queen’s Baton will be welcomed at the square with an evening full of festivities. The Queen’s Baton Relay enters the final stage of its 294-day journey around the Commonwealth with its final destination being the Alexander Stadium in Perry Barr at the thrilling Opening Ceremony featuring Duran Duran, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi and more.
