It’s a big day in Mexico as the country celebrates Cinco de Mayo. The festival commemorates the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
Mexicans celebrate this day by showing re-enactments of the battle of Puebla and by going on parades dressed in colourful costumes with mariachi music.
