Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market 2024: Dates confirmed for city's annual festive fair

In startling contrast to the soaring weather today here in Birmingham, we're going to be looking far ahead to Christmas.

Because the dates for this year's German market have been officially announced!

Birmingham's beloved Frankfurt Christmas Market is set to return for its 24th year, providing festive cheer in the heart of the city. Scheduled from 1st November to 24th December 2024, the market will operate Monday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm, extending slightly on weekends.

Located in Victoria Square and New Street, the market promises a delightful mix of traditional toys, ornaments, gifts, and a mouth-watering selection of food and drink. Adding to the festive atmosphere, the popular big wheel and ice rink will also make a comeback in Centenary Square from 1st November, open daily from 10am to 10pm, except on Christmas Day. Though it might seem distant now, Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market is sure to bring warmth, joy, and holiday spirit to the city's winter months.
