Summer is here and it's time to quench our collective thirst.
Fortunately for us, this year sees a plethora of beer festivals across the West Midlands where we can do just that.

Here’s our guide to Brum’s best summer beer festivals in 2024.
1. Birmingham Craft Brew Festival
Dates: 12th - 13th July 2024 at the Custard Factory
First up following its highly successful debut last year the Birmingham Craft Brew Festival is back.
Taking place at the Custard Factory in Digbeth it's a showcase of some of the most iconic local breweries, such as the Birmingham Brewing Company and the Indian Brewing Company.

Hide AdThis year includes five hours of unlimited craft beer, as well as great street food, live music and giveaways.
2. Suds Fest
Date: 7th September at the Uffculme Centre
Suds Fest is back with Attic Brew - the iconic brewery - which calls Stirchley home.
Suds Fest will take place in beautiful Moseley at the Uffculme Centre's seasonal market alongside plenty of amazing street food.
Tickets are priced at only £12 each and include a free Suds Fest glass.
3. Wolverhampton Beer & Cider Festival
Dates: 25th-27th July at the Newhampton Arts Centre

Hide AdStepping outside of Birmingham for a moment there's the annual Wolverhampton CAMRA event.
Founded in November 1976, the Wolverhampton branch of the Campaign for Real Ale has campaigned against pub and brewery closures, encouraged publicans to stock real ale, rewarded pubs awards, and maintained an active social community, organising trips and ‘get togethers’.
4. Rising Sun Beer Festival
Dates: 15th June at The Rising Sun Pub in Tipton
The Rising Sun Beer Festival brings together some of the finest ales from across the UK. It takes place on the 15th June this year and offers some great live entertainment throughout the evening.
5. Wythall Beer and Cider Festival
Dates: 11th October at the Wythall Community Club
And the final one falls outside of summer but for those who find themselves craving a bit more once the glory of the summer has faded it's the Wythall Beer & Cider Festival. It takes place on 11th October.
There’s not much information about this one yet but it's a much-loved annual event that takes place in the deepest south of Birmingham with Wythall Community Club.
