Thousands of people travel to the heart of Birmingham to enjoy the seasonal festivities that Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market brings.

The much-loved event is now open and is in the city centre until December 23. After last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic many are planning to make this year’s trip extra special.

Extra measures are being put in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the singing moose is returning along with the popular stalls and delicious food and drink to try.

Visitors from far and wide are planning to travel to Birmingham to indulge in the festivities as the German Christmas Market returns for its 19th year, so you may want to plan head and make a weekend of it, or maybe a festive mid-week break.
