New TUI destinations: All the new routes from East Midlands Airport that travellers can try in 2025


We’re only one day into 2025, but many of us will already be thinking about our plays for the year ahead.
January can be a bit of a depressing month when it comes to the weather, so it’s understandable to start turning attentions to jetting off somewhere hot and sunny.

Hide AdEast Midlands Airport (EMA), just a short drive from Nottingham, serves more than 80 locations across Europe, making it the ideal place to plan your 2025 escape from.
In fact, EMA is adding four new routes to its daily schedule in 2025.
The airlines launching new destinations from the airport are Jet2, TUI and Blue Islands.
The four new routes are:
Leros (Greece) - Jet2
Earlier this month Jet2 announced that it will be running two flights a week to the Greek island of Leros from May 2025.

Hide AdAccessible via Kos Airport, East Midlands will be one of nine UK airports operating flights to Leros from next summer.
Jet2 will be operating two flights a week from EMA to Leros, beginning on Friday, May 2.
From then on, flights to the Greek island will be on Tuesdays and Fridays until the end of October 2025.
Boa Vista (Cape Verde) and Burgas (Bulgaria) - TUI
From next summer, TUI will be offering flights from EMA to Boa Vista, Cape Verde, and Burgas, Bulgaria.

Hide AdTUI will be flying to Boa Vista from Saturday, May 3, with flights taking place every Wednesday and Saturday until the end of October.
Then, between November 2025 and May 2026, flights will only be on Wednesdays.
Guernsey - Blue Islands
EMA will be one of three new UK airports to begin routes to Guernsey in 2025.
Airline Blue Islands will start flights from EMA to Guernsey in March, with tickets now on sale.
EMA will have three flights a week to Guernsey all-year-round, with additional flights during spring and autumn.
