We stayed for two nights on a very stormy weekend in December - and it was heaven!
Watch the video for a full tour.

Roaring log burner, beautiful views, hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and beautiful décor - this place has got everything you need.
As a busy family-of-five, we had plenty of room to relax, cook and play games. While the weather was wild outside, it made for the perfect cosy December stay. Everything just feels so clean , fresh and modern - it really is a luxury home from home.

Step outside and you’re greeted with a private hot tub, a firepit that doubles as a BBQ, and a hanging egg chair to soak up the stunning Shropshire views.
The lodge seamlessly blends relaxation and functionality, providing a sanctuary for guests to unwind after exploring nearby trails or engaging in onsite activities.
For us, this stay was luxury, beautiful, easy to manage with three children and not too far from home - it was idyllic (and we’ve booked to return in May).

We happened to coincide our visit with Salop Leisure’s Christmas market and the light trail on offer - which made our December weekend have that perfect festive feel.
The costs for Wren’s Lodge are from £250, sleeping six. There are smaller, alternative accommodation options on site.

A new partnership at Love2Stay (which we thoroughly enjoyed) is The Host’s Pantry. You can order these beautiful food boxes to be delivered to your accommodation at Love2Stay.

The Host’s Pantry, based in Shropshire, delivers curated recipe boxes designed to bring fine dining experiences into your home (or lodge).

Whether you're hosting a family dinner, treating someone to a gourmet experience, or simply elevating a quiet night in, their offerings like the Breakfast Boxes and Luxury Steak Night Boxes provide all the essentials for a memorable meal.

We enjoyed the breakfast box, steak box, risotto box and cheeses. They were absolutely delicious and as we sat eating in our luxury lodge overlooking the Shrewsbury scenery with the Wrekin on the horizon, we realised what a real gem this partnership is.
