Birmingham is home to some brilliant tourist attractions, with picturesque landscapes and historic buildings on the bucket lists of tourists around the globe to visit.
As Tripadvisor reviews attest, these Brummie attractions showcase some of the best the city has to offer. But what happens when a visit goes horribly wrong?
While browsing some of Birmingham’s most highly-rated and dearly-loved tourist spots, we unearthed some hilarious 1-star reviews that put a smile on our faces.
From St Andrew’s and Villa Park to to the Floozie in the Jacuzzi, here are 10 Brummie tourist attractions with funny 1-star reviews on TripAdvisor.

1. The Floozie in the Jacuzzi
The Floozie in the Jacuzzi outside the city council house has been Victoria Square's centrepiece for almost 30 years, but not everyone's enjoyed seeing the statue officially titled The Goddess to The River. One person desribed it as a 'disrespectful antimodest statue' | LDRS

2. Moseley Bog and Joy’s Wood
Moseley Bog is a historic and beautiful woodland that inspired The Lord of the Rings writer J.R.R. Tolkien. The lovely woodland was an inspiration for Tolkien growing up in Birmingham. The Old Forest in his books The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings, draws from the beautiful landscap. Surely the area's natural beauty and the fact it helped to inspire one of the biggest film franchises of all time is enough to impress everyone? Well, maybe not. One person wrote: "Small bit of woodland with nothing special at all. I have no idea how Tolkien got his inspiration!" | Flickr

3. Aston Villa stadium tour
Villa are the most successful clubs in the West Midlands and the only club in the region to have a European Cup but not everyone has been impressed by the club's stadium tours. One customer wrote on TripAdvisor: "Not the world's best place to watch entertaining football. Very boring, lethartic and lackadaisical. Seen more interest in a Sunday League pitch in the rain." A Coventry City fan even went on the tour and said: "I am probably very biased with regard to this review as Villa are 'the enemy!'. I genuinely do not get it though. I find this to be nothing special." Photo: Nathan Stirk

4. St Andrew's stadium tour
Just down the road from Villa Park, Blues also offer guided stadium tours of St Andrew's, but a few visitors were also rather displeased by their visit. One person wasn't happy with supporters' attire during their visit, writing: "Want to see hundreds of grown adults dressing up as Peaky Blinders? We’ll come on down to St. Andrew's stadium!" | Getty Images
