Wolves issue ‘hands off’ warning to clubs trying to sign Hwang Hee-chan
Wolves star Hwang Hee-chan is a man in demand - but Gary O’Neil’s men are not going to let him leave the club without a fight. Yesterday, he had reportedly agreed a deal to sign for Marseille, but Wolves do not seem to be on board with this idea.
In response to Marseille’s interest in the player, they slapped a ‘ridiculous’ transfer fee on Hwang’s head to deter them and any other potential suitors that the South Korean international may have over the course of the ongoing summer transfer window.
O’Neil does not want to let Hwang go ‘at any cost’ - clearly, his importance to the team is invaluable. Last season, Hwang made 29 Premier League appearances, scoring 12 goals and notching up three assists along the way.
