Wolves injury report: Who’s in and who’s out for Wolverhampton Wanderers for Burnley clash
and live on Freeview channel 276
It’s no secret that Bruno Lage has found himself working under a small squad since his arrival at Molineux and with some of the names that he’s had to work without, it only makes the current position the squad find themselves in all the more impressive.
And January can’t come quick enough as Wolves currently find themselves with just three fit centre-backs.

Here’s the current state of play ahead of the next match.
Injuries
Pedro Neto
Injury: Knee
What we know: Neto is yet to play any part of the new campaign because of the serious knee injury he picked up in the last. With that said, he’s well on track in his recovery process and is just a few weeks away from resuming full team training.
Expected return date: January 2022
Yerson Mosquera
Injury: Hamstring
What we know: The young defender suffered a serious hamstring injury in the League Cup defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and has since had successful surgery to correct the problem. His return is still a way off.
Expected return date: February 2022
Bruno Jordao
Injury: Knee
What we know: Jordao injured his knee whilst out on loan last season but is edging closer to a full return to fitness. The 23-year-old played 25 minutes in the under 23’s 5-0 loss to Norwich this past week and whilst the result isn’t one to remember - minutes in the tank is a huge win for the midfielder.
Expected return date: December 2021
Jonny Otto
Injury: ACL

Expected return date: January 2022
Daniel Podence
Injury: Covid-19
What we know: Podence missed the 0-0 draw with Norwich City and will once again be unavailable for the Burnley game after contracting coronavirus. It’s not thought to be serious and Lage expects him to be available for the Liverpool game.
Expected return date: Liverpool (H) December 4
Willy Boly
Injury: Muscular
What we know: It’s one thing after another for Boly this year. The Ivorian is still yet to play a single minute of Premier League football for Wolves in this campaign after constant recurring niggling injuries. He picked the most recent one up whilst on international duty - again and Lage revealed it will more than likely keep him out until January.
Expected return date: January 2022
