Is Wolves vs Everton on TV? Channel, streaming and kick-off time ahead of Carabao Cup clash

Wolverhampton Wanderers continue their Carabao Cup campaign on Tuesday night

In a nightmare start to the new season for Wolverhampton Wanderers, the only positive for Vitor Pereira’s men so far has been their progression into the Carabao Cup third round.

Wolves beat fellow Premier League strugglers West Ham United 3-2 at Molineux in their second-round tie in August to progress into the next round of the competition, where they have the tough task of another all-top-flight tie at home to Everton.

It will be the second time the two clubs have faced off this season already, as the Toffees won 3-2 in a tight encounter in the West Midlands on match week three. Hwang Hee-chan and Rodrigo Gomes scored for Vitor Pereira’s men that day, two of just three league goals which have been scored in five matches. The Wolves boss could make significant changes to his side as a result of their poor league form.

Jorgen Strand Larsen won the game against the Hammers last time out in the cup, finding the net twice in a decisive substitute appearance. He has since signed a new five-year deal with the club and returned from injury against Leeds United, so may be in contention to feature against Everton.

Wolves vs Everton - TV broadcast details and kick-off time

Wolves’ home tie against Everton in the third round of the Carabao Cup kicks off at 19:45 BST on Tuesday evening (September 23) at Molineux.

The match will be shown live on Sky Sports+ alongside seven other matches on the night, as Sky Sports are broadcasting every Carabao Cup fixture live this season. The match will also be available for streaming on SkyGo and NOW TV.

The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw will then take place the following night, live on Sky Sports Main Event on Wednesday at around 10pm.

The Old Gold hope to be in the draw and will look to get back to winning ways against Everton in front of a live TV audience. With the match broadcast by Sky Sports across multiple platforms, fans will have the chance to tune in if they are not able to make it to the game.

It looks set to be another enthralling encounter, following five-goal thrillers both in the last round of the cup and in Wolves’ recent meeting with the Toffees.

‘Today, I’m proud of my players’ - Pereira after Carabao Cup win

Speaking after Wolves’ 3-2 victory over West Ham in round two of the competition, head coach Pereira spoke of the pride he felt at his side’s performance after a tough start in the league.

"Today, I'm proud of my players and proud of my supporters, because today was a win of character,” said the Portuguese. "We showed character, we showed personality, we showed commitment, team spirit, and this is what is fruitful for me.

"We have a good connection [with the fans] because they know that we are hard workers, not only me, but my staff. We suffer together, and we deserved this win for that reason. The connection between us and them is very important. In a small city, we need this connection.

"I believe that we can [gain momentum] because I know the work that they are doing every day, day by day in training, and I feel that we have players with character, and I know the quality of our work. I know when we have the true spirit in a team, when you create the spirit, we can win games.

"I hope the supporters come again to help us, because we are a club that is not the top club in the league, but we are a good club, and with organisation and with spirit, we can get results."
