Wolves' £13.5m agent fee spend compared to Newcastle United and Arsenal

Vitor Pereira has done an eye-catching job at Wolves since his move to Molineux. He was picked as their head coach earlier this season and he has since adapted well to life in England. The Midlands outfit chose him as their replacement for Gary O’Neil, who was sacked after a poor run of form.
Pereira’s side are sat in 16th place in the table and have managed to lift themselves away from trouble. Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town occupy the bottom three with West Ham above them in 17th. Next up is an away trip to Old Trafford this weekend to face Manchester United.

As per Transfermarkt, Wolves spent £64million last summer on new arrivals. They brought in Andre, Rodrigo Gomes, Sam Johnstone, Pedro Lima, Tommy Doyle, Bastien Meupiyou, Carlos Forbes and Jorgen Strand Larsen. Their additions took a while to settle in though as the club made a slow start to the campaign.
Strand Larsen has since become a key player at the top end of the pitch. He is on loan from Celta Vigo but there is an option to buy him permanently. The attacker has scored 12 league goals and is eyeing more before the summer.
Wolves then delved into the January market to add some more reinforcements. According to Transfermarkt, a combined £32.5million was spent on defender Emmanuel Agbadou and midfielder Marshall Munetsi from Stade de Reims respectively. They also splashed £10.3million on centre-back Nasser Djiga from Red Star. Their new arrivals have done well and have helped them start picking up results.
