Former Aston Villa captain Tyrone Mings has responded to fellow England international, Conor Coady’s loan move to Everton in jokey fashion via Instagram.

Ex Liverpool man Coady joined the Reds’ Merseyside rivals on a season-long loan on Monday after being told he was no longer in the plans of Bruno Lage at Molineux.

And Mings, along with numerous other professionals took to social media to wish the extremely popular figure Coady, well.

The Villa man wrote: ‘So happy for you brother, did they leave the coat hang in on ther second pic?’ Whilst Dion Sanderson who is currently on loan at Birmingham City and Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier both wished the defender luck.

Away from Coady and Mings himself has had his future thrown up in the air in recent weeks after being stripped of the captaincy at Villa Park.

The 29-year-old was said to be hurt by the decision and was later then left out of the Premier League opener versus Bournemouth last weekend.

There has not yet been any real solidified talk about a move away from the West Midlands for Mings, however, the transfer of Coady goes to show that nothing is a certainty in football and something could definitely develop before the window slams shut on September 1.
