Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Wolves winger Adama Traore.

The Spaniard has been a long-term target of Antonio Conte and nearly joined in January, before joining Barcelona on loan.

The 26-year old started and scored in Tuesday’s (23 August) 2-1 win over Preston but he could be on his way out of the club before next week’s transfer deadline.

According to the Daily Express, Traore is “being heavily considered by the club”, as Tottenham look to add reinforcements to their forward line.

Traore has less than a year left on his contract and has rejected Wolves’ attempts to extend his deal, so it looks like the club are willing to sell for value rather than lose him on a free next summer.

The ex-Aston Villa man has played just 30 minutes in the Premier League this season, and it is unclear whether he is a major part of manager Bruno Lage’s plans for the rest of the campaign.
