A departure from Ashton Gate looks to be on the cards after the Robins made Conway train with the under-21s. He is not being considered a part of their preparations for the upcoming campaign after contract talks hit an impasse.
Conway has 12 months left to run on his current deal, and having been offered new terms last season, talks have gone cold. His representatives are now being tasked with finding a new club, but as of yet there has been nothing substantial, and that's how things remain.

"Tommy's coming in every day, working hard and doing what he needs to do. The staff are looking after him. There are bits going on behind the scenes but nothing is done as of yet so nothing at the moment."
A centre-back is likely to be Wolves' priority at the minute after selling Max Kilman to West Ham for £40m. Jake O'Brien was a reported target but he is heading to Everton with Wolves priced out of a move.

Wolves were also said to be interested in signing Che Adams and offered him a contract after he left Southampton, but he opted to join Torino on a free transfer. Conway has been on Wolves' radar and with the possibility of getting him for a small fee, they might not want to pass up on the opportunity.
