Reports from South America have linked Wolves with a move for a Paraguay international.

Wolves are reportedly interested in signing Ramon Sosa, according to reports in South America.

Germán Garcia Grova and César Luis Merlo, two journalists based in Argentina are reporting that there is interest from the Molineux club in Sosa who plays for Club Atletico Talleres. He has a release clause of $20m which roughly translates to about £15.6m. Sosa is said to have recently changed his agents and has a 'good chance' of landing in the United Kingdom according to Garcia Grova.

The 24-year-old is a left-sided winger that has been capped eight times for the Paraguay national team. He has seven goals and six assists in 21 games across the 2024 season so far.

He has been included in the Paraguay squad for their upcoming friendlies in June as they prepare for the Copa America campaign which will run from June in to July. He is an international teammate of Newcastle United midfielder Miguel Amiron and Juli Encisco who plays for Brighton & Hove Albion.

Should Wolves or any club meet what Talleres are demanding then it would represent a club record fee received for the Argentine Primera Division outfit. The most amount that CA Talleres have received for one player so far is the €7.85m that FC Juarez paid for Diego Valoyes.

Talleres have done business with an English club before with Nahuel Bustos heading to Manchester City for a reported €6.50m but he would later return to them on a free transfer. The Cordoba-based club also helped forge the career of former PSG and Roma star Javier Pastore.
