Prediction sees new finish in relegation battle - including Wolves, Everton, Leeds United and Leicester City - gallery

The latest data prediction sees the Premier League relegation fight finale – as Wolves, Everton, Leeds, Leicester, Southampton and Nottingham Forest battle.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have made decent progress under Julen Lopetegui but they’re still not safe from the threat of relegation just yet, with the fight very much continuing as we head into the closing stages of the Premier League season.

It’s been a riveting watch for neutrals but tense for fans supporting the clubs involved as just four points separate 18th and 13th with eight games left to go. Wolves (31 points) are currently the side occupying that 13th spot after a surprise 1-0 victory over Chelsea, but anything can still happen.

West Ham United (30), who have played a game fewer are just one point behind, whereas AFC Bournemouth (30), Leeds United (29), Everton (27), Nottingham Forest (27), Leicester City (25) and Southampton (23) are all in the battle too.

But who is looking the likeliest to go be relegated from the Premier League to the Championship as it stands? And which clubs will win the battles at the top of the table?

From first place all the way through to 20th, here is an updated look at the final predicted standings from simulations run by FiveThirtyEight.
