Wolves have reportedly made an enquiry to Nantes for their Egyptian forward Mostafa Mohamed.

According to L’Equipe, one of France’s biggest newspapers, both Wolves and Olympique de Marseille have recently asked about signing the forward. He is said to have been subject of interest from a club in Saudi Arabia, but he turned down the move, however he isn't guaranteed to stay at Stade de la Beaujoire.

An offer of €15m was accepted by Nantes, and so that is what it could take to lure Mohamed away from Nantes. OGC Nice made a loan offer earlier in the transfer window, but that was rebuffed.

The 26-year-old has been playing in Europe for the last three years having initially joined Galatasaray on loan from Zamalek. He's been playing in France for the last two seasons, and has a record of 19 goals and seven assists in 82 games for Nantes.

Mohamed, who began his career in Egypt, has 12 goals in 37 games for his country. In Turkey, he grabbed 17 goals in 58 games, and got to play in the UEFA Europa League.

Another situation to keep an eye on is Yoane Wissa, with Sky Sports reporting that Nottingham Forest have made a £15m bid for the forward. A joint report from Kaveh Solhkeol and Lyall Thomas states it is unclear what Brentford's response is but they would like to keep him at the Gtech Community Stadium.

It is added that Wolves are continuing to monitor the situation as Wissa also ranks highly on their list of transfer targets. Earlier this month, the BBC reported that the Old Gold had already been told by the Bees that they did not want to sell Wissa.

The 27-year-old has been viewed at as someone who could replace Pedro Neto after Wolves sold him to Chelsea for £54m. Despite the transfer speculation, Wissa has got on with things and got a goal and an assist in Brentford's opening day win over Crystal Palace. He also played in the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
