Cunha deal urged

Former Manchester United star Louis Saha has urged his old club to sign Matheus Cunha this summer amid links between the Brazilian and Old Trafford. “Every time I see him play, he’s very creative, very powerful, he can break any line, and that kind of skill he’s got is the missing link that United need,” Saha has said.

“He’s a player that’s capable of accelerating the game, whether that’s by him passing the ball or dribbling, and he possesses a lot of quality. I would not be surprised and I have no doubts that with some stronger players around him, he can be a terrific player.”

Cunha recently admitted: "You know it's a real honour to have your name linked to Manchester United. One of the biggest clubs in the world. But I'm happy at Wolves. If I'm lucky, I play another good season, but the window is open, you never know."

Podence latest

Olympiacos are said to be confident of striking a deal for Wolves star Daniel Podence. That’s according to journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos, who has said: “Olympiacos are optimistic that there will be a deal with Wolves for Daniel Podence.”

Podence did not feature n Wolves’ plans last year, but he was handed a new contract before being loaned to Greece. During that loan spell, he won the Europa Conference League with Olympiacos, a club he may well return to this summer.
