Early team news for Leicester City v Wolverhampton Wanderers, including updates on Harvey Barnes, Ricardo Pereira, Diego Costa and Boubacar Traore.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head out on the road in the Premier League for the first time in three weeks as they take on fellow relegation battlers Leicester City on Saturday afternoon. Following two successive home victories - against Chelsea and Brentford - Julen Lopetegui’s side are full of confidence, but the job isn’t done just yet.

Now up to 34 points, Wolves are seven clear of the drop and things are definitely on the up, though more wins are needed to get them over the line. Leicester, on the other hand, are desperate to improve their form as they are in 19th and two points away from safety following four successive defeats.

On the injury news front, Diego Costa has become the latest concern for Wolves as he was taken off during the 2-0 win over Brentford. “He had a big knock in the first half,” Lopetegui confirmed post-match. “He started the second half but he told me he couldn’t continue.” The striker, who netted his first goal for the club in that particular game, will be assessed.

Boubacar Traore is another doubt as he’s still lacking match fitness but there’s good news, as Wanderers will be buoyed by the returns of Ruben Neves and Jonny Castro on Saturday. The pair have completed their respective suspensions and are now available for selection. Long-term absentees Sasa Kalajdzic and Chiquinho (both knee) are out until pre-season.

Leicester will have to make do without Ricardo Pereira as the right-back injured his hamstring against AFC Bournemouth on April 8 and will be out for a few weeks. Harvey Barnes, who has also hurt his hamstring, is touch-and-go for the weekend. Ryan Bertrand (knee) and James Justin (Achilles), however, will both miss out.

Ruled out: Pereira, Bertrand, Justin (LEI); Kalajdzic, Chiquinho (WOL).

Doubts: Barnes (LEI); Costa, B. Traore (WOL).
