Wolves are back in action on Sunday when they take on Champions League-chasing Newcastle United.

Wolves have improved significantly since Julen Loptegui’s arrival, and that was put on display last weekend when they defeated Tottenham away from home. But they still have a lot of work to do, currently sitting just five points above the relegation zone. Lopetegui’s men will be sensing the opportunity to climb up and away from the relegation battle before the final run-in, but they are going to have to pick up a handful of wins to pull that off.

Highlights details

Highlights of this game will be available on Sky Sports’ channels throughout Sunday night, while Sky Sports will also post clips on their social channels during the game. Extended highlights will be available on the official YouTube channels of the club from early Monday morning.

Fans can also tune into highlights on Match of the Day 2, which will be shown on BBC One at 10.30pm on Sunday night. Just keep in mind that there will be no presenter or pundits in place due to Gary Lineker being asked to step aside due to his political tweets. Pundits are standing by Lineker, likewise the BBC commentators. As a result, the commentary will be provided by Premier Leaguw World Feed.

Match of the Day anchor Gary Lineker was asked by the BBC to step back from presenting their flagship football highlights program, Match of the Day, until they agree on a social media policy. What Eddie Howe has said

Speaking about Newcastle’s recent dip in form, Howe has said: “Through every season there are difficult moments and there are patches where you don’t win the games maybe you should. That’s the time, I believe, you have to be really strong mentally and know it will change.”

Wolves boss Lopetegui has said : “I think we’re going to play against one of the strongest teams in the Premier League. They have a fantastic squad, very good players and a very good coach. They play with one very clear style, rhythm with and without the ball.

“They are ready to fight for the Champions League, but in the same way we are going to go there with ambition and thinking we are able to compete with them and beat them. This is our aim, for sure. I think we are going to play a very hard match, but in the same way a very exciting match for us.”
